The Sherman Playhouse is seeking ten men, ages 20 to 70 and two women, ages 18 to 50 for its summer production of Oscar Wilde's classic drama, SALOMÉ.

Despite the fact that this rarely seen play by Oscar Wilde is over a century old, it still has the power to shock as well as enthrall. On stage, the triangular conflict between Salomé, Herod, and John the Baptist has provoked scandal. A sensuous tale of obsession and revenge, SALOMÉ is the portrait of a young woman's passion that builds to a frenzied, erotic, and inevitable conclusion.

SALOMÉ is under the direction of Joseph Russo of New Milford.
