Aaron Lewis To Perform Two Acoustic Shows at The Ridgefield Playhouse

By:

Lead singer of Staind AaRon Lewis will perform two acoustic shows at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Friday, July 8

Lead singer of the rock group Staind, AaRon Lewis will be in concert on Friday, July 8, in two shows -- 7 p.m. & 9:30 p.m. -- at The Ridgefield Playhouse. Best known for his Staind hits "It's Been Awhile", "Outside" and "So Far Away" and his latest solo hit "Country Boy", he'll perform a special acoustic duo show singing Staind hits plus those from his solo career. $1.00 for each ticket sold will be donated to Lewis's charity of choice, "It Takes A Community Foundation". Media sponsor is 106.9WCCC.

Lewis is up for two CMT Music Awards this month: USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year for the song "Country Boy" from his Town Line album. He teamed up with Charlie Daniels and George Jones for the collaborative effort. Lewis's Town Line, his first ever solo album and country album, entered the Billboard Top 200 album chart at #7 and landed at #1 on the Billboard Country albums chart. All this solidifies his versatility throughout music.

AaRon Lewis has said of his musicianship: "I've always stayed true to how I feel in my songs. I love this country, and I feel like I've gotten to live the American dream. I'm genuinely blessed to have this opportunity, and I'm glad to celebrate that classic country spirit with this new music". Stroudvarius Records' bio of Lewis states: "That's why this music will live on forever; just like everything else AaRon Lewis has done."

For tickets ($50), call or visit the box office at The Ridgefield Playhouse, (203) 438-5795. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT; ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
