New Haven's acclaimed A Broken Umbrella Theatre debuts its newest work, SEEN CHANGE!, at the Shubert Theatre in honor of the legendary theatre's 100th Anniversary. SEEN CHANGE! made its World Premiere at the Shubert on Thursday, February 19, with performances following tonight, Feb. 20 and Wednesday thru Saturday, February 25-28.

Featuring singing stage managers, tap dancing technicians, and panicking producers,

SEEN CHANGE! pays homage to the blood, sweat, and tears that go into creating theater and the legacies left behind. When an apprentice inadvertently defies age-old theater superstition, everything goes wrong for an out-of-town musical on its final day of rehearsal at the Shubert Theatre. Calamity and chaos abound in A Broken Umbrella Theatre's newest work, SEEN CHANGE! This original musical comedy goes beyond the footlights to celebrate 100 years of theater at the legendary Shubert, New Haven.

Audiences: Keep your hats on because this "let's-put-on-a-musical!" style farce will take you between the old Taft Hotel and the Shubert Theatre as characters and eras collide.

SEEN CHANGE! is conceived and created by A Broken Umbrella Theatre with book by Jason Patrick Wells, lyrics by Rob Shapiro, music by Will Aronson and directed by Ian Alderman. The company includes a talented cast of actors, singers and dancers and features Danny Gardner (featured in Encores! "Lady Be Good" with Tommy Tune and in the cast of the recent national tour of White Christmas), Robin Levine (cast of Broadway's "MAMMA MIA!" and Goodspeed's "Mack and Mabel") and Ryan Gardner in the role of the composer from the past, Timothy T. Wilson Willoughby.

SEEN CHANGE! is recommended for ages 10 and up. Tickets are now on sale: online at shubert.com, call 203.562.5666 or visit the Shubert Box Office. Tickets are $38.

A Broken Umbrella Theatre is committed to enhancing the vitality of our community, supporting the creative growth of our ensemble, and presenting compelling theatrical events with a commitment to aesthetic rigor, inspired by the unique history of New Haven Connecticut.
