Based on the classic swashbuckling tale of vengeance and redemption, The Countess of Monte Cristo tells the story of a young woman betrayed in the name of greed and spite by people she trusted who transforms herself into an agent of self-styled justice and returns to the glitter and intrigue of upper-class Paris twenty years later to carry out her revenge.
Outdoor summer shows are free and open to the public, though donations are encouraged and vital to the continued success of Actors' Theatre. Reserved seating available.The Countess of Monte Cristo is from the novel "Le Comte de Monte Cristo" by Alexandre Dumas, adapted by Philip J. Hickman and Jennifer Feather Youngblood. Directed by Jennifer Feather Youngblood, the cast includes: Amelie Dantes- McLane Nagy, Ali Tepelini- Derek Faraji, Alberta Herrera- Mary Paige Rieffel, Fernanda Mondego- Kasey Meininger, Madame Villefort- Catherine Cryan, Marie- Cat McAlpine, Valentine Villefort- Myia Eren, Eugenie Danglars- Maggie Turek, Merced Herrera- James Harper, George Danglars- Erik Binion, Gerard Villefort- Ken Erney, Monsieur Morrell- Greg Hoffman, Maximillian Morrell- Tom McKinney, de Bouville- Elizabeth Harelik, Peppino- Michael Carozza, Edward Villefort- Kevin Colgan.
