THE MUSEUM PLAY Opens at convergence-continuum 5/13

By:

convergence-continuum, continues its 2011 Season at the Liminis theatre with the Mid-West premiere of The Museum Play by Jordan Harrison - a dark and comic exploration of untenable longings to posses the past, and the preservation of love and desire. The Museum Play will be the third work by playwright Jordan Harrison to be produced by convergence-continuum, who have previously presented Harrison's Act a Lady and Finn in the Underworld.

When the mastodons escape, Jame needs another exhibit for the Museum. Luckily, he has a friend with wonderful bones. The Curator is delighted with her new smash hit of a specimen, yet she still wonders who is behind the mysterious exodus of flora and fauna. Unfolding in cabinets, habitats, and hallways, The Museum Play investigates the curious intersections of memory and desire.

The Museum Play is directed by convergence-continuum company member Cory Molner, and features actors Jessica Fleming, Stuart Hoffman, Zac Hudak, Sarah Kunchik, Clyde Simon and Lauren B. Smith.

The Museum Play opens Friday, May 13 and runs at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through June 4 at the Liminis, 2438 Scranton Rd., Cleveland, OH 44113 in the historic Tremont neighborhood. Tickets are $15 general admission, $12 for seniors (65+) and $10 for students. Reservations and information are available at 216-687-0074 and www.convergence-continuum.org.
