THE ELVIS BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE to Return PlayhouseSquare, 1/12

The Elvis Birthday Tribute returns to PlayhouseSquare for ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY, January 12, 2014 at 7:00 pm.

Back by popular demand, The Elvis Recreators are here to celebrate Elvis' 79th birthday. Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 8, 1935. Join PlayhouseSquare as it hosts The Elvis Birthday Tribute, a concert that covers the four main eras of Elvis Presley's musical history. The show features songs from the Rock-A-Billy Elvis years, The Military / Movie years, the '68 comeback special in black leather and last but not least the Las Vegas Jumpsuit years.

The show features Shawn Klush (the acclaimed No. 1 Elvis performer in the country, who was featured in the 1999 CBS-TV movie Shake Rattle & Roll), Donny Edwards and newest heartthrob Cody Ray Slaughter (who also stars in the Broadway show, Million Dollar Quartet). They are joined by host and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee DJ Fontana, Elvis' original drummer, The Sweet Inspirations, and The Blackwood Quartet.
