Written by Helen Hayes New Playwright Award recipient Paul Downs Colaizzo, Really Really comes to Beck Center following a sold out, twice extended run Off-Broadway. Inspired by the Duke lacrosse rape case, the play begins with a comedic tone and startlingly transitions into serious subject matter. In this comic tragedy, the veneer of loyalty is peeled back to reveal a vicious jungle of sexual politics and raw ambition found in today's youth. The New York Times praised Really Really as "terrific...this is Lord of the Flies with smartphones."

Beck Center is pleased to welcome back Donald Carrier, the Associate Director of the Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program. He returns to the Studio Theater after previously directing the critically-acclaimed comedy, Seminar. The talented cast of seven includes Randy Dierkes, Molly Israel, Rachel Lee Kolis, Chris Richards, Olivia Scicolone, Jack Schmitt, and Daniel Scott Telford. Chris Richards appears courtesy of the Actors' Equity Association (AEA). "Really Really is a fascinating new play that lets the audience weigh-in on guilt and blame," remarked Artistic Director Scott Spence. "It sparks dialogue for what continues to be a front-burner topic."

A post-performance Talk-Back focusing on the various themes within the play will take place in partnership with the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center Saturday, June 17.

Tickets are $31 for adults, $27 for seniors (65 and older), and $12 for students with a valid I.D. A $3 service fee per ticket will be applied at time of purchase. Preview Night on Thursday, June 1 is $10 with general admission seating. Group discounts are available for parties of four or more. Purchase tickets online at beckcenter.org or call Customer Service at 216.521.2540 x10. Beck Center for the Arts is located at 17801 Detroit Avenue in Lakewood, just ten minutes west of downtown Cleveland. Free onsite parking is available.

This production of Really Really is presented through special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc. It is generously sponsored the residents of Cuyahoga County through Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and the Ohio Arts Council.
