Weathervane Playhouse is set to bring you a loving send-up of early 1960s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock 'n' roll, as we present the classic Bye Bye Birdie in our Founders Theater August 2 through the 19. Show times are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. There are also 4 weekday matinee performances on August 7, 8, 14, and 15 at 12:30 p.m. Tickets range from $16-$20 and can be purchased by calling 330-836-2626 or by logging on to www.weathervaneplayhouse.com.

Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted into the army, so he chooses All-American girl Kim MacAfee for a very public farewell kiss. Featuring a tuneful, high-energy score - with such memorable songs as Put on a Happy Face, One Last Kiss, One Boy, A Lot of Livin' to Do, Kids! and Rosie - and a hilarious script, Bye Bye Birdie is as fresh as ever, and continues to delight audiences after nearly 60 years since its debut.

Weathervane Playhouse's production of Bye Bye Birdie is presented by arrangement with Tams-Witmark.
