Ohio Dance Theatre Presents THE NUTCRACKER In Collaboration With Verb Ballets, 12/16-18
A holiday tradition returns when Ohio Dance Theatre in collaboration with Verb Ballets present The Nutcracker at the Stocker Arts Center running December 16-18, 2016. A wonderful ballet for the entire family, The Nutcracker is the perfect way to ring in the holiday season. From the elaborate party scene to the lavish grace of the Dew Drop Fairy, the full stage production is sure to enchant audiences of all ages.
Young and old alike will delight in the many special effects, including the growing Christmas tree, dancing mice, and the falling snow as Clara is swept off her feet to the Land of the Sweets. Don't miss the performances of The Nutcracker at the Stocker Arts Center Hoke Theatre at Lorain County Community College, running December 16-18, 2016. Join the dancers on Family Night, Saturday, December 17, 2016, following the 7:30 pm performance; guests will enjoy a free meet-and-greet with production dancers while enjoying cookies and cocoa.
Tickets for The Nutcracker, running December 16-18, 2016, may be purchased by calling Stocker Arts Center at 440-366-4040. Stocker Arts Center is located on the campus of Lorain County Community College, 1005 North Abbe Rd, Ohio 44035. Ticket prices range from $14 to $40. Evening performances begin at 7:30pm on Friday and Saturday; the Sunday matinee begins at 2:00pm.
