Cleveland Play House presents the world premiere of Ken Ludwig's THE GAME'S AFOOT (OR HOLMES FOR THE HOLIDAYS) at the Allen Theatre, opening today, November 25th and running through December 24th. In addition to regular performances, several special events have been scheduled to further engage and education show patrons.

PRE-SHOW CONVERSATIONS
Theatre-goers are encouraged to attend a discussion group – led by a member of the cast or creative team – before every performance. Pre-show conversations begin 45 minutes before performance time and are presented in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. With insights into the story, its themes and creative decisions, you're sure to learn something interesting about the production.

POST-SHOW DISCUSSIONS
Scheduled following performances on December 4th, 6th, 11th and 18th, audience members are invited to stay for talkbacks with members of the cast and creative team. These discussions allow for the opportunity to ask questions of those involved onstage and backstage. It's also a chance to follow up on thoughts the show may have spurned in your head while you were watching it.

PLAYDATE
A new program created to engage both children and adults in the theatre is being offered on November 27th from 2pm to 5pm. While adults attend THE GAME'S AFOOT, children are broken into two age groups to participate in activities related to the themes of the show. Cost is $15 per child and reservations can be made by calling 216.795.7000, ext. 4.

GEN.NOW SERIES
Gen.NOW takes place on December 6th and is designed to encourage patrons in their 20s and 30s to socialize with each other at the theatre and in downtown hot spots. Tickets are $20 and include the 7pm performance of THE GAME'S AFOOT and admission to the pre-show happy hour at Blue Bar at the Wyndham starting at 5:30pm. Happy hour includes free hors d'ouevres and half-priced drink specials.

STUDENT MATINEES
Special 10:30am performances of THE GAME'S AFOOT are scheduled for December 2nd and 14th to allow for extraordinary field trip for students in grades 6 to 12. Interactive activities allow students to engage in the creative arts during a day at the theatre. For more information, call 216.400.7061.

EDUCATOR EVENING
November 29th is Educator Evening from 5pm to 9:30pm. The night includes a professional development class, dinner and a ticket to that evening's performance. Visit www.clevelandplayhouse.com for more details and RSVP information.
