Amy Grant & Michael W. Smith Comes To PlayhouseSquare's Palace Theatre

Two of Christian music's most recognized and beloved artists, Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith, reunite for the first time in more than two decades for a landmark "2 Friends" concert tour which makes a stop at PlayhouseSquare's Palace Theatre Fri., Feb. 25 for one 7:30 pm performance. Both artists will perform music from their vast catalog of fan favorites, along with selections from their current chart-topping albums: Grant's Somewhere Down The Road and Smith's latest project Wonder.

Tickets go on sale Fri., Dec. 17th at 11 am at The PlayhouseSquare Ticket Office; 215-241-6000 and online at playhousesquare.org. Tickets will be $75, $65, $55, $45 & $10 Smart Seats.

Combined, Grant and Smith have won nine Grammy Awards and sold more than 47 million albums. They first toured together in 1982 when Grant's Age to Age was exploding up the Christian music charts, thanks to hits like "El Shaddai" and "Sing Your Praise to the Lord." Smith performed as Grant's keyboard player and opening act, supporting his debut release, Project, which generated instant classics such as "Great Is The Lord" and "Friends." The two continued touring on and off the rest of that decade and have collaborated musically over the years.
