Lead Carpenter - Arkansas Repertory Theatre

Arkansas Repertory Theatre is looking for a Lead Carpenter for the 2019 season. We are currently producing a five show season. Our scenic shop also supports an educational program with workshops and scaled down productions. The ideal candidate should possess experience in all aspects of scenery construction, in-depth knowledge of shop tools as well as the ability to solve problems and work independently. Metal working/welding skills a plus. Ability to read plans a must. Additional duties include loading, installation, strike of all shows, attending technical rehearsals and previews as needed. This position includes assisting in general maintenance of facilities and equipment. Candidate must be a good team player willing to assist other departments if and when needed. This is a full-time, year-round salaried position with benefits. Position opened until filled. Ideal start date is Jan 2, 2019.
