Internships for 2020 Summer Season

The 574 Theatre Company in Mishawaka is excited to announce they are seeking production interns for their 2019-2020 season. Interns will be an integral member of our production team and opportunities for leadership, supervisory, and design positions are available for qualified candidates. Positions include: Direction & Administration Technical Direction Properties & Carpentry Costumes, Makeup & Wigs ​Interns will be asked to commit 10 hours of work a week (plus technical/dress rehearsals, load-in, performances, and load-out) and be compensated with $50.00 per week, plus provided housing. Interns will also be eligible for class credit if it meets their institution’s requirements. Internship Program Benefits: -The Intern will receive hands-on training from experienced professionals in the field in addition to resume building projects and contacts in the professional field. -Involvement in the Intern program will also include participation in a mentorship program where each apprentice is matched to a professional in the company who will mentor them in their area of interest including feedback and support in portfolio work, career goals, etc. -The Intern will have the opportunity to experience other theatrical productions and art events in the South Bend/Mishawaka and regional area as time allows. -The Intern will receive housing at a reasonable distance from their workspaces for the duration of the season and transportation assistance as necessary and available. -The Intern will receive a stipend of $50 a week for their work in the season.
