Seeking Energetic, Creative, Motivated, Kind, and Talented Teaching Artists for an Inclusive Theatre Company.
Chickenshed NYC will be training Teaching Artists in July to learn our methodology and an Inclusive theatre approach to work with children and youth. We are expanding and diversifying our pool of trained teaching artists and hope to hire some of them to work part -time in our Fall 2020-Spring 2021 program. Here are the details for the training program:
When: Monday, July 20th
Where: Virtually via Zoom
TIme: 10:00 am -1:30 pm
Stipend: $100

WHO WE ARE
Chickenshed NYC is the American cousin of London’s Chickenshed Theatre Company, which for more than 45 years has pioneered inclusive theater by and for children of all abilities and backgrounds. Chickenshed NYC is built on the notion of inclusive participation, with the belief that everyone can contribute their ideas and gifts regardless of ability, race, circumstance, or background.
We create theatre for all ages and run successful membership programs and outreach projects throughout the year. Our core programs include Tales from the Shed performances for children ages 0-5, and Chickenshed Players, inclusive theatre classes and programs for young people ages 6-13+. Our programming will occur online and in-person, depending upon the public health situation.
