American Stage Apprenticeship Program - American Stage

American Stage, a professional, AEA, non-profit theatre company in St. Petersburg, FL is interviewing candidates for its 2019-20 Apprenticeship Program designed for recent college graduates looking to gain full-time, professional experience in their field. We seek passionate and motivated college graduates interested in receiving on-the-job training from theatre professionals and valuable hands-on experience at a highly regarded nonprofit, equity theatre company with a 40-year tradition in St. Petersburg, FL.



Available apprenticeships include Acting & Production, Stage & Production Management, Design & Technical Theatre, Education & Outreach, and Arts Administration. Apprenticeships for the 2019-20 season will begin on September 3, 2019 and will end on August 23, 2020. Only candidates who are able to commit full-time to the entire season will be considered.



Apprentices are paid a weekly stipend of $200, receive EMC (Equity Membership Candidacy) weeks, professional development coaching, access to our improv and acting classes and will experience master classes taught by industry professionals. Housing is not provided.
