Tickets Go On Sale 10/30 For National Tour of WICKED at Schuster Performing Arts Center, Runs 2/17-3/7

Tickets to WICKED, "Broadway's biggest blockbuster" (The New York Times), go on sale at 8 AM Friday, October 30, 2009 for a limited three week run, February 17- March 7, 2010, at the Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center. Tickets will be available for sale to the general public WALK-UP only at 8 AM, October 30. Phone and online sales begin later the same morning at 10 AM.

One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.

Declared "A Cultural Phenomenon" by Variety, Wicked currently has productions in New York, San Francisco, London, Tokyo, Stuttgart, Sydney and on two North American tours. Based on the novel byGregory Maguire, Wicked has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book byWinnie Holzman.
