Show-Me Burlesque Troupe from St. Louis is headed to Cincinnati to perform at Know Theatre. Headlined by Lola van Ella, the traveling troupe has flair for theatrics, dramatics, storytelling and swirlin' their tassels..
Are you ready for the best glitz, glam and fabulous burlesque, boylesque, vaudeville, and variety entertainment? St. Louis has a rich and diverse burlesque and vaudeville history from the brilliant talent of Josephine Baker, to the heyday of Gaslight Square, where The Smothers Brothers, Phyllis Diller and Barbara Streisand got their start.
Coming off a smash success in the inaugural Show-Me Burlesque Festival, the troupe is taking on the road some of the local talent that is returning St. Louis burlesque to its former grandeur with a sexy new makeover. St. Louis is blessed with an amazing and diverse group of talented entertainers who are performing all kinds of burlesque, from classic, to comedic, to edgy performance art.
