New Edgecliff Theatre's annual "Sweet Suspense" radio theater event this year features an all new
adaptation of Washington Irving's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by NET's own Devon Campailla. Directed by Bob Allen, this will be the company's fourth foray into the world of old-time radio, complete with all the trappings of a true radio performance, including live sound effects by WMKV's own Mike Martini.

All small towns have their secrets and stories, but none quite like Sleepy Hollow, whose legends are
filled with gloom and gore. When the bumbling and superstitious Ichabod Crane comes to teach the
town's children, he also sets his eye on winning the hand of the enchanting Katrina van Tassel. But the schoolmaster's nerves are sent haywire by tales of the dark phantom that rides through the woods at night. Will Ichabod be able to overcome his fears and marry the beautiful Katrina, or will he succumb to the legendary evils of the Headless Horseman?

The evening features an extended intermission featuring a dessert buffet.
