Know Theatre Adds Performances To A WRINKLE IN TIME Thru 12/26

Know Theatre of Cincinnati is pleased to announce two additional performances for A Wrinkle In Time. The performance has been selling tickets quickly and we anticipate that several future performances, especially our matinees will be selling out in the next few days. Added performances will be 3pm matinee performances on Saturday December 18 and Sunday December 26.

It was a dark and stormy night...Meg and her brother Charles Wallace encounter the strange Mrs. Whatsit and her friends Mrs. Which and Mrs. Who. Meg and Charles Wallace are soon whisked away to a distant planet to rescue their missing father from and evil and all-powerful IT. Their unusual friends guide them on their mission but ultimately the children are on their own in a dangerous and strange land. John Glore's adaptation of the popular children's story, brings this world of imagination and fantasy to life.

Book Drive
In celebration of the joys of reading- our portal into the imaginative world of A Wrinkle In Time -Know Theatre is holding a book drive to benefit the Peaslee Neighborhood Center. This book drive will be sponsored by Giveback Cincinnati. We invite you to bring your gently used or previously loved books, especially children's and toddler age books, with you to A Wrinkle In Time. Books may also be dropped off at the theatre during our office hours Monday through Saturday 11am - 6pm, or before a performance.
Peaslee's Child Development Center was established to provide a quality education for children

from six weeks to five years old. The teachers recognize the importance of balanced growth so

they provide opportunities for mental, physical and emotional growth through a variety of creative

and cultural experiences. Through a developmentally appropriate literacy based curriculum, arts

and music classes, and the Peaslee Schoolyard, they strive to teach and educate children to prepare

them for Kindergarten. Peaslee Neighborhood Center provides a peaceful place where Over-the-

Rhine residents create and participate in dialogue-based educational programs that foster creative

expression, self- determination, personal voice and social justice.

Giveback Cincinnati works to enhance our communities through engaging young volunteers and developing leaders by providing unique community engagement opportunities. Give Back Cincinnati started in December 2000 with a small group of friends that wanted to give back to their community. Since our first event, that small group of friends has grown to over 5000 members (representing 400 companies) and continues to provide young people in Cincinnati with an outlet where they can have fun, meet people, and give back to their community all at the same time. Give Back Cincinnati is a federally recognized non-profit organization led by our board of directors, with our membership playing key roles in leading and executing projects throughout the year.
