Covedale Center for the Performing Arts and Grear & Company Present I DO! I DO!, Now thru 11/11

By:

The Covedale Center for the Performing Arts, 4990 Glenway Avenue presents I DO! I DO!, tonight, October 18 through November 11, 2012.

“The Covedale” has become a destination attraction with patrons hailing from all over the Tri-State, and one of the largest subscription bases in town. In the last decade, over 250,000 people have seen a show at the Covedale Center for the Performing Arts.

I DO! I DO! features Book and Lyrics by Tom Jones, Music by Harvey Schmidt. The story of a marriage is at the center of I DO! I DO! The show begins with Michael and Agnes on their wedding day and traces their life together over a period of 50 years, until the day they leave their house to the next pair of newlyweds. In that time we watch them go through their wedding night jitters, raise a family, negotiate mid-life crises, quarrel, separate, reconcile and grow old together, all lovingly to the strains of a tuneful, charming score which includes the standard "My Cup Runneth Over."

The show features Dee Anne Bryll and Ed Cohen as Co-Directors, Doug Schmutte as Music Director, and Jordan M. Loyd as Production Stage Manager. The cast includes Lesley Hitch (Agnes Snow) and Rick Kramer (Michael Snow).

Complete performance dates are Thurs. Oct. 18, Fri. Oct. 19, Sat. Oct. 20, Sun. Oct. 21, Thurs. Oct. 25, Fri. Oct. 26, Sat. Oct. 27, Sun. Oct. 28, Thurs. Nov. 1, Fri. Nov. 2, Sat. Nov. 3, Sun. Nov. 4, Thurs. Nov. 8, Fri. Nov. 9, Sat. Nov. 10, and Sun. Nov. 11.
