the kates on broadway Come to The Laugh Factory 6/1
The show is produced by Kelsie Huff, founder of the kates and instructor at the kates university. The next show will take place on June 1st at 8 p.m. at the Laugh Factory (3175 Broadway St.). There is a two drink minimum and it is an 18+ show. Tickets can be purchased at the Laugh Factory website for $17. Free tickets are also available by calling the Laugh Factory box office at (773) 327-3175 with the code "KATES". Future shows will take place on the first Thursday of every month.

the kates is a nine year all female comedy showcase created by Chicago comedian Kelsie Huff. the kates shows take place the first Thursday of the month at the Laugh Factory and the second Friday and last Saturday of the month at The Book Cellar. the kates mission is to showcase talented and hilarious female identified performers by creating inclusive and positive environments; which encourages artists to express their comic point of view in unique and non-apologetic ways - proving that women are equal in the eyes of comedy.
