Women Are Crazy Because Men Are A**holes has been called "one of the best comedies of the year," by Chicago Stage Style and the Windy City Time raves "Fans of old-fashioned sentiment should enjoy this final taste of summery sweets before hunkering down for a winter of Heavy Drama." It is a "Reader Member Recommended" performance and Chicagonow.com says "The show seems a perfect bachelor/bachelorette party, ladies night out or date night."

Women Are Crazy Because Men Are A**Holes, written and directed by Chicagoland native Brad T Gottfred, introduces audiences to five couples who are gathering for a brunch to celebrate the occasion of Nicole finally meeting Dylan after two months of internet courting. Nicole, before even seeing Dylan face to face, has planned her life with him and cannot wait for her friends to meet her soul mate. Her friends, however, may not be the best people to have at this "special occasion" as each person is caught in their own unique web of lovelorn madness. Secrets are revealed, sex is weaponized, hearts are broken and everyone's sanity will be tested. Even before Nicole gets her first kiss, this wild comedy will make her, and the audience, question what is a romantic relationship and if anyone can be less than crazy for trying to be a part of one.
The cast includes many of the original Los Angeles performers including: Bella: DeAnna Smith (L.A. Cast), Christine Donlan, Benny: Trevor Morgan, Dylan: Kimani Shillingford (L.A. cast), Devlin Borra, George: Baxter Defy (L.A. cast), Hillary: Aleksandra August, Mandy: J.J. Nolan (L.A. cast), Nicole: Mandy Henderson (L.A. cast), Phoenix: Somer Benson, Reynold: Blake Boyd (L.A. cast) and Tim: Adam Schulmerich. Understudies are Nicole: Maria Wilson, George: Daniel McEvilly, and Hilary: Becky Bush.
