Vivarium Theatre to Stage WHATEVER WE WANT, 10/16-11/8
Vivarium Theatre Company presents the World Premiere of: Whatever We Want, written and directed by Megan Johns.
We meet Bug and Della, 10 and 12 years old respectively, and the closest of sisters, paddling through a vast swamp searching for something unspoken. It's the last day they'll live under the same roof.
Whatever We Want follows two sisters over the course of 15 years as they're separated by their parents' divorce and struggle to maintain their relationship. The show deals with reconciling the reality of loved ones with the way they exist in our minds, and learning to meet the adults we loved as children. It features the talents of:
Alison Banowsky
Patriac Coakley
Niki Dreistadt
Olivia Nielsen
We at Vivarium Theatre are proud to present the final show of our inaugural season. It's a world premiere by playwright Megan Johns (ReWilding Genius Steppenwolf Garage Rep 2014.)
Join us for an evening of theatre that will invite you to examine the themes of growing apart, starting over, and trying to give love in spite of all we've been through.
Whatever We Want opens at Boho Theatre's Heartland Studio (7016 N. Glenwood Ave) on Thursday, October 16th at 8:00pm and will run Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, through November 8th. Tickets can be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets. For further information, visit the Vivarium Theatre Company website at www.vivariumtheatre.com or email vivariumtheatre@gmail.com.
