What Does The Sun Sound Like? is a touching autobiographical tale about growing up immersed in two worlds, that of the hearing and that of the Deaf. A hearing daughter of Deaf parents, Malinowski's stories are for anyone who has ever felt different, reflecting on the relationship between parents and children, love and forgiveness, and finding yourself amid the clash of cultures in this melting pot called America.

These are the final performances of What Does The Sun Sound Like?, marking the end of an extensive, nationwide tour of the show, during which it won the BackStage West Garland Award for "Best Performance," was nominated for the LA WEEKLY Award and the Los Angeles Theatre OVATION Award, and was selected as one of the 5 Best Solo Shows in Chicago by Windy City. Following its Victory Gardens Biograph run in February, Malinowski will retire What Does The Sun Sound Like? to focus on transforming it into a memoir.
