Transcendent Ensemble Theatre Presents LIMELIGHT, 2/21

LIMELIGHT is a highly entertaining variety show held periodically throughout the year in Wicker Park! Every production of LIMELIGHT has it's own unique host for the evening. Each show features a fabulous headliner, which could be a comedian, musician(s), aerial artists, slam poets, or well, you get the idea!

The next LIMELIGHT will be held on February 21 at 9 PM and will be featuring: HAHALALA (a Sci Fi Glam Duo), Greta Humphrey (Aerialist), Wright Gatewood (Singer/ Songwriter), Ann Marie White & Rachel Page (Cabaret Act), Marie Curieosity (Burlesque), Nex Up (Rapper), Khloe Richardson (Spoken Word),and Jason Pereira (Singer/ Songwriter).

Also, during the show, the audience will have a chance to participate (optional) with Russian Roulette Karaoke!
Tickets are $10 admission at the door. Cash only. General seating. There will also be 'libations by donation' available. Doors open at 8:45pm and the show starts at 9pm

*Past acts in the variety show have included performances by: Headlining Comedian's Ian Abramson, Tim Barnes and Martin Morrow; Musician's Antony and the Tramps; singer/songwriters such as Liz Chidester, Kelsie Hogue, and Cassandra Henwood; as well as hoop dancing, Chinese-pole acts, poetry, puppets, burlesque (including acts by Marie Curieosity), and more!

Mission statement: TRANSCENDENT is a professional theatre company dedicated to creating works that are relevant, inventive, and most of all- entertaining. In the developing process, TRANSCENDENT strives to work as a collaborative, non-traditional ensemble. They aim to reach audiences from all walks of life, and continue to push boundaries with how they present theatre to the community.
