Three Cat Productions Present BLOSSOM DEARIE in the Skokie Theatre, 5/15
Three Cat Productions brings "They Say It's Spring: The Musical World of Blossom Dearie" to Skokie Theatre Music Foundation on May 15th, 2010.
"They Say It's Spring" celebrates the musical genius of the hippest woman of the world. Regarded as one of the great club singers, Blossom Dearie is famous for her "wispy, little-girlish" voice and songs like "Peel Me a Grape" and "I'm Hip". She also sang "Figure 8" and "Unpack you Adjectives" for the Saturday Morning Kids program "School House Rock".
Starring Jaii Beckley, Rob Dorn, Elizabeth Doyle and Jason Paul Smith. Musical direction by Elizabeth Doyle. Written and directed by Jason Paul Smith.
