By:

The friendly, on-the-field rivalry for a good cause between Chicago's top-tier Tony Award-winning theater companies--the Goodman and Steppenwolf--in the 3rd annual flag football game Saturday, October 26 from 9:30-11:30am. Team members include actors, artisans, crew, staffers and cast members. The event also includes a "two-act" halftime show performed by each theater company, including young theater ambassadors from Goodman Theatre's Youth Arts Council.

Admission to the game is FREE, but spectators are encouraged to bring donations for either of the two supported charities: Breaking Bread, one of Greater Chicago Food Depository's partner soup kitchens (see below for a list of items); or Bin Donated, a non-profit organization located in Lincoln Park that distributes toiletries to Chicago area shelters providing refuge for seniors, women, teens and victims of abuse. Prior to game day, Goodman staff members volunteered at Breaking Bread and helped those in need receive medical care, food and clothing.
