One of the Midwest's leading, professional equity theaters presenting both regional and world premieres, Theatre at the Center, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, is thrilled to offer an array of special events and performances in addition to their exceptional 2015 Anniversary Season. Kicking off the lineup is a jam packed weekend of entertainment with Harbor Lights' Tribute to Doo-Wop, Chicagoland's hottest doo-wop vocal quintet performing entirely in a cappella on August 21, followed by M&R Rush on August 22.Switchback may be known for their Celtic hits but will treat audiences to a special bluegrass concert, Switchback Americana, on September 27. The Neverly Brothers will delight with their fun synthesis of rockabilly and 60's British Invasion on October 31. Rounding out the lineup is A Jersey Voice: Sinatra to Springsteen and Everyone In Between on December 31. Ring in the New Year with some of America's beloved classics including songs from Dean Martin, Billy Joel and Frankie Valli.

The fun begins as the curtain goes up on Friday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m. with Harbor Lights' Tribute to Doo-Wop. Audiences will be amazed by the vocal performances of the group; surprised by the realization that there is no instrumental accompaniment. Harbor Lights' electrifying renditions of Under the Boardwalk, The Lion Sleeps Tonight and My Girl will transport audiences back to 1957's romance and simplicity for a night.

M&R Rush will rock out hard and ensure a good time on Saturday, August 22 at 7:30. Back by popular demand, this powerful, exciting band boasts an awesome orchestration of three guitars, keyboards, bass and drums. From the time the show starts until the final encore, the audience knows they are witnessing something special. Their ability to connect to the crowd and to have fun while making great music must be the reason why so many people love them.

To pay attention only to the Celtic side of musical duo, Switchback, would be a disservice to the unique American roots music crafted by FitzGerald and McCormack. Audiences will enjoy a soulful, bluegrass concert, Switchback Americana, on September 27 at 7:30 p.m. Switchback concerts feature a mix of Irish music and original songs from their catalog of over 300 tunes which have been described as "breathtaking scenery for your ears." None other than the Grammy Award-winning producer Lloyd Maines chose to work with Switchback in producing three of their albums and considers the duo one of the most important acts playing Americana music today.

On Halloween night, The Neverly Brothers will delight with their fun synthesis of rockabilly and 60's British Invasion. Composed of Kevin Giragosian, an accomplished singer/songwriter/guitarist who has been a prominent member of the Chicago live music scene for nearly 20 years, alongside Craig Gigstad on upright bass fiddle, and Kegham Giragosian on minimalist stand-up drum kit, The Neverly Brothers tell the story of how rockabilly stars came to lay the groundwork for early 60's rock n' roll. On October 31 at 7 p.m., come for the costume competition and dance party, and stay for the show-stopping renditions of hits from classic artists such as The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, Carl Perkins, The Beatles, The Kinks and The Rolling Stones, to name only a few.

From John Michael Coppola of Chicago's long running hit, Jersey Boys, comes A Jersey Voice: Sinatra to Springsteen and Everyone In Between. Coppola takes the audience through some of America's most beloved sounds starting in the 1940s and featuring the music of icons like Dean Martin, Billy Joel and, of course, a healthy dose of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Ring in the New Year right and catch A Jersey Voice on December 31 at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
