Theatre-Hikes produces Streeterville by G. Riley Mills and Ralph Covert, a 100-year-old story about class warfare and occupying land, at three Chicago-land, outdoor venues, tonight, August 18 and August 19 at 1PM at North Park Village Nature Center (5801 N. Pulaski, Chicago IL), August 26 at 4 p.m. at City of Blue Island at MetroSouth Park at York and Western in Blue Island, and September 1 and 2 at 1PM at Pullman State Historic Site (11057 S Cottage Grove Ave, Chicago).

Theatre-Hikes, Presenting Stories that Move You since 2001, is presenting it's outdoor walking version of G. Riley Mills and Ralph Covert's Jeff Award script, Streeterville with folk music found and arranged by Music Director Timothy Vana. With a story taken directly from the streets of a Chicago neighborhood, this historical drama (with music!) rings a bell in today's 99% society, as history unfolds the story of Cap Streeter and his fight with the wealthy elite to keep this previously unclaimed piece of land located in the center of prime real estate in Chicago.

Brian Rabinowitz directs an ensemble of actors including Jocelyn Adamski, Nick Bonges, David Fink, Sarah Helt, Daniel Lehner, Amand Lynn Meyer, Steve Parks, Brian Rabinowitz, Keta Roth, Justin Schaller, Brendan Stallings, and Sean Thomas.
