The Scooty & JoJo Show to Host Diva Brunch at The Spot, 5/8
Two years ago, The Scooty & JoJo Show and The Spot, at 4437 N Broadway, came together to create Chicago's first "wear your pancake and eat it too" variety brunch extravaganza - DIVA BRUNCH. For the third year in a row, Scooty & JoJo return to host their favorite Diva holidays, transforming The Spot into their gilded glamor den where guests feast on specialty brunch cuisine as Divas and Dames of all genders provide the entertainment. On Mothers Day, May 8th, The Spot will feature holiday brunch seatings at 11am and 1pm. Brunch package starts at $35/guest with secured reservation; $40/guest without reservation. Package includes live entertainment, a selection from The Spot's exclusive brunch menu, unlimited mimosas or bellinis for the duration of the show, and coffee or tea. In addition to DIVA BRUNCH, hosts Scooty & JoJo are responsible for Chicago's long-running horror musical CARPENTERS HALLOWEEN and the recent smash hit, ALIEN QUEEN. For DIVA BRUNCH, Scooty & JoJo's variety entertainment will feature special guest stars, including cabaret singers, gender-illusionists, stand-up comics, musical groups, and stars of musical theatre.
And while the Divas perform, The Spot will again be offering a high-end romp of decadent food for the inner diva in all of us. Guests will select their main course from an exclusive DIVA menu, featuring such fabulous brunch fare as "Strip those Eggs" (NY Strip and Eggs!) and "French Quarter Toast" (French Toast meets Bananas Foster - prepared table-side!). The package also features unlimited mimosas and bellinis during the show and coffee or tea.
Kings, Queens, and In-Betweens are all invited to come, let loose in this array of aroma & artistry, and kick off the holidays in a flurry of fabulous!
