The One Of A Kind Holiday Show Announces Top Features And Events For December

One of the only events at which guests can attend fashion runway shows, listen to talented musicians, add to their fine art collection, indulge at a gourmet market, and get all of their holiday shopping finished all in one place, The 18th annual One of a Kind Holiday Show, has announced its official 2018 features and events schedule.

Returning to The Mart, 222 W. Merchandise Mart Plaza, December 6-9, 2018, The Show will feature more than 600 independent artists from across North America and beyond with a wide range of unique and eclectic offerings including accessories, bath & body items, ceramics, fashion, fiber art, furniture, glass, gourmet goods, holiday products and more on the show floor and as part of several specially highlighted activities.

In addition to browsing and purchasing handcrafted items directly from the artists and artisans, visitors of the 2018 One of a Kind Holiday Show can experience a number of exciting events and special features, including:

· One of a Kind Fashion Shows

Shoppers are invited to attend live runway shows featuring clothing and accessories from exhibiting artists on Thursday, December 6 at 6 p.m., Friday, December 7 at 6 p.m. and Saturday, December 8 at 5 p.m.

· Gourmet Market

Indulge your taste buds on edible art! Shoppers will find a fantastic selection of gourmet artisans selling a range of delicious specialty items including dips, sauces, confections and baked goods in this special section on the holiday show floor.

· Emerging Market

This year's emerging market will feature spaces showcasing 25 talented up-and-coming artists including {blade + bloom}, 3rd Season, Acebo Jewelry, Annie Glotzbach Encaustic Art, Bottega Flaviani, Cape Horn Illustration, Cedar & Rye and many more.

· Fine Art Gallery

Everyone is encouraged to walk through the show's Fine Art Gallery and enjoy a curated exhibition of some of the most unique fine art and sculpture pieces available for sale from the artists on the show floor.

· Onsite Cafés
Shoppers can rest their feet and enjoy a wonderful variety of gourmet food without leaving the show floor. For those looking to catch sporting games, The Sports Café will conveniently have TVs playing all the weekend's big games. All cafes include bar service for guests to sip and shop at the same time.
