The Factory Theater to Open DATING & DRAGONS This July at New Home

By:

This July, The Factory Theater will open its production of Dating & Dragons at its new home on Howard in Rogers Park. Dating & Dragons comes on the heels of The Last Big Mistake, which was one of the best-selling shows in company history.

"I'm excited to direct my first production in our new space," said Artistic Director Scott OKen, who is helming the production, "we have much more flexibility in a space under our control."

Dating & Dragons follows a group of Dungeons & Dragons gamers, trying to navigate a labyrinth of love and dating.

"In traditional Factory fashion, we're telling stories about groups of people you don't normally see on stage. It should be a lot of fun," said Carrie J. Sullivan, Factory Theater company member and Managing Director.

Previews for the world premiere comedy will begin July 1, and the company plans to host a series of neighborhood previews to invite the community to see the show. The production will open officially on July 8 at 8pm.
