TONY N' TINA'S WEDDING To Close July 25 After 25 Years

After 25 years, two locations, over 670 local actors employed, 3.5 tons of pasta served, and bountiful memories that will last a lifetime, "Tony n' Tina's Wedding" will play its final performances in Chicago on Wednesday July 25.

The interactive phenomenon, which opened in New York City in 1988, has played in over 200 cities in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and Japan.

The longest-running comedy in Off-Broadway History, "Tony n' Tina's Wedding" is recognized as the "granddaddy of interactive theater," where audience members enjoy dinner, dancing and the wildest wedding ever

Limited seating is available for July 25 performances at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., giving Chicagoans two final chances to see the show in their hometown.

The ceremony is held at Resurrection Church, 3309 Seminary Ave., and is immediately followed by a rousing reception one block away at Vinny Blacks Coliseum, 1113 W. Belmont Street, Chicago.
