THRONES THE MUSICAL PARODY Announces Halloween Performance and Costume Contest

"Thrones! The Musical Parody" and Apollo Theater Chicago (2540 N. Lincoln Ave.) announce a one-night-only Halloween performance and costume contest onMonday, October 31. Audience members are encouraged to don their best Halloween attire and participate in a costume contest judged by cosplay group leaders from Geeks A Gogo, AllGeeks HQ and The Age of Geeks as well as the cast of "Thrones!."
In search of the best costume this side of the Seven Kingdoms, attendees have a chance of winning more than $200 in prizes from local vendors such as Chicago Costume, Taboo Tabou, G Boutique and more. The Halloween performance of "Thrones! The Musical Parody" takes place on Monday, October 31 at 7:30pm. Before the show, attendees are invited to dine next door at the Bavarian beer hall, Prost!(2566 N. Lincoln Ave.), to enjoy 10% off a pre-show meal. Halloween at "Thrones!" begins at 7 p.m., where guests will show off their best costumes as the contest kicks off in the lobby. After a 7:30 p.m. performance that evening, three judges from Chicagoland's leading cosplay groups will pick the winner in each category, including Best in Show Costume, Best Couple Costume, Best Group Costumes, and Judges' Favorite. Out of the top winners, the cast of "Thrones! The Musical Parody" will pick the overall winner for the evening. Following the costume contest, Prost! will host the official after-party with drink specials."Baby Wants Candy" has performed more than 2,000 completely improvised musicals to thousands of fans from Chicago to New York to Singapore to Scotland.
