THIS IS NOT OVER YET: Paul W. Thompson's Set List for June 13th Released!

Last month, Chicago's St. James Cathedral announced its fourth summer of free concerts, the "Music in the Neighborhood" series. And for the third straight year, BroadwayWorld Chicago's Regional Editor, Paul W. Thompson, author of the weekly column, "The Showtune Mosh Pit," will be performing on the series!

This year, Thompson's concert will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 5:30 pm at 65 E. Huron Street in Chicago's Magnificent Mile neighborhood. His show is called, "This Is Not Over Yet: Broadway Songs of the Millennial Era (1995-2003)." And today, his set list is being released! It includes songs from the hit shows "Rent," "The Lion King," "The Producers," "Hairspray" and "Wicked," plus music by the era's essential composers: Jason Robert Brown, Adam Guettel, Frank Wildhorn and more.

St. James Cathedral, founded as a congregation by Chicago pioneers John and Juliette Kinzie in 1834, and made the Cathedral church for the Episcopal Diocese of Chicago in 1955, hosts free concerts every Thursday evening from 5:30-6:30 p.m., starting June 6 and ending August 29. Stop by the St. James Commons Plaza at the corner of Rush and Huron to experience these amazing, FREE concerts!

Paul W. Thompson is a professional singer, actor, pianist, musical director, vocal coach, teacher, composer and commentator. With a bachelor's degree in theater, and master's degrees in both music and business, he moves easily between the worlds of classical music, religious music, classic pop and musical theater. He has appeared onstage or in the orchestra pit in concerts, musicals, operettas and operas in 30 states, in a career spanning more than 35 years. He composes music for the church and the theater, and is excited to teach the great songs of Broadway to the next generation of musical theater performers.

Paul W. Thompson Music, located in Chicago's historic Fine Arts Building at 410 S. Michigan Avenue, Suite 417, and licensed by the City of Chicago, is the center of Paul W. Thompson's career as a performer, teacher and writer for the theater, church and concert hall.
