Random Acts has announced the casting for the world premiere of Strangest Things! The Musical by Bryan Renaud and Emily Schmidt. The production, directed by Tommy Rivera-Vega, will open at the Greenhouse Theater Center on March 3rd, 2017.

Set to the intoxicating beats of your favorite 80's hits, Strangest Things! is a new musical mystery from the twisted minds behind the smash-hits Barney the Elf and Ladies Night of the Living Dead.

The cast is lead by Molly LeCaptain in the role of Juice Byers. LeCaptain reunites with much of team from Barney the Elf, in which she earned rave reviews for her performance as Cookie the Elf. Kevin O'Connell will portray Sheriff Hopper, with Alexandra Alontaga taking the role of Eleven. The young boys will be portrayed with female-identifying actors and will feature Jenna Fawcett (Mike), Colleen DeRosa (Dustin), and Mariah Furlow (Lucas). Casey Tutton stars as Nancy, with Ben F. Locke as Steve, the sex-crazed stud, and Christian Siebert taking the fan-favorite role of Barb. Gracie Harper and Natalie O'Hea serve as swings for the production.

Tickets for Strangest Things! The Musical are currently on sale through April 1st, 2017. Performances will take place Friday and Saturday nights at 10pm at the Greenhouse Theater Center (2257 N. Lincoln Ave, Chicago). Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at www.RandomActsChicago.com or www.greenhousetheater.org.
