Short Story Theatre Presents Stories About UFO Sightings, What A Woman Really Wants, And More

Short Story Theatre presents an evening of four warm, wise and wonderful true stories on Thursday, September 27th, 2018, at 7:30 p.m. at Miramar Bistro, 301 Waukegan Ave. in Highwood. Bruce Bertucci of Highland Park recounts a tale of his youthful gang of Highwood pals and their shenanigans in his story "My Friend Eddie the Ditch."

Storyteller Julie Isaacson, also of Highland Park, is on a mission to dismantle her childhood home in her story "He Loves Me, He Leaves Me Not."

Anthony Bilotti of Highwood experiences a UFO sighting, but his dad tries to convince him it was a dream - or was it? His story: "I Was Awake."

Karol Verson, a Niles resident, reveals some juicy true-life adventures from the wild days of the 1970's.

Short Story Theatre was founded in 2012 and is dedicated to promoting storytelling as a vibrant, contemporary art form. Co-founder and Producer Donna Lubow says, "Stories are creative non-fiction, based on personal experiences. Our troupe of more than fifty members from Chicago and the northern suburbs melds writing skills and performance skills to entertain and inspire audiences."
