MORE ABOUT SHAKESPEARE'S FEMALE WOMENSHAKESPEARE'S FEMALE WOMEN, Produced, Written and Performed by Ever Mainard and Alicia Queen, is an absurd romp that delves into the feminine mystique of the Bard. Ever Mainard and Alicia Queen will perform all of Shakespeare’s women in this offbeat performance with a sketch comedy feel. By juxtaposing modern trends and viewpoints with the classical nature of the Bard, Shakespeare’s women will come to life in this era of technology, advertisement, and hyper-logic.
Alicia Queen is a graduate of Rhodes College with a concentration in Commedia del'arte from the Acedamia del'arte in Arezzo, Italy. She has worked with the Tennessee Shakespeare Company, Theater Memphis, and developed her own Neo-Futurist group in Memphis, Tn.
