Today, Monday, October 14th at Mrs Murphy's Irish Bistro, Route 66 Theatre continues its Monthly Reading Series with WHERE YOU CAN'T FOLLOW, written by Adam Szymkowicz and directed by Matthew Miller, starring BriAnna Baker, Bruce Jarchow, Beth Lacke and Artistic Director Stef Tovar.

When his doctor tells him he doesn't have more than a month left to live, Matt realizes he's never been in love before. So he leaves home, flies to Paris and tries to fall in love before he dies.

This poignant yet very funny comedy is reminiscent of "Midnight in Paris," and features Stef Tovar and Beth Lacke alongside two incredible talents of Second City fame, BriAnna Baker and Bruce Jarchow.

Beginning in 2014, Route 66 Theatre Company will present its first subscription season as a new resident company at the Greenhouse Theater Center. Route 66's 2014 Season features the Chicago Premiere of CICADA by Jerre Dye and the World Premiere of THE DOWNPOUR by Caitlin Parrish, both directed by Associate Artistic Director Erica Weiss.

We are offering a choice of subscription packages in 2014, both at a great value:

- A RoadTrip Subscription is just $99 for premium seats to opening weekend of both plays, both concerts, and invitations to special events throughout the year.
- A PassingLane Subscription is $125 and includes a ticket to the official opening night for each production and the reception with the cast and creative team, plus all the other benefits of a RoadTrip Subscription.

Route 66 Theatre Company produces plays and musicals that embrace the American spirit of exploration and fearlessness. Theatre is an invitation to discussion and participation, with both artists and patrons. Our journey begins with engaging our audiences in our play selection process through monthly reading events and ends in a season of Chicago-based premieres. We value inclusion of many voices and a bold approach to stories with an urgency to be told. We take a no-holds-barred approach to bringing the highest quality of production values and performances to our Chicago audiences. Our programming is selected based on its ability to grab an audience emotionally and take us all on a theatrical "road trip" of discussion and discovery.
