Route 66 Theatre Company Presents I'M GONNA PRAY FOR YOU SO HARD

Ella is a precocious and fiercely competitive actress whose sole aim in life is making her famous playwright father, David, proud. Over the course of a boozy evening, Ella and David deliberate over whether to read the reviews of her Off-Broadway debut...and things unravel from there. Halley Feiffer's dark, probing and very funny new play pulls the audience into the middle of a deeply complicated relationship and sheds new light on the eternal struggles of parents and children to find common ground.

Amanda Drinkall is a Chicago based actor working in theatre, film, and TV. Film credits: The View from Tall. TV credits: Chicago Med, and the pilot episode of NBC's Bobby & Iza. Chicago theatre credits include Mary Page Marlowe (Steppenwolf Theatre); Venus in Fur, Ah, Wilderness, Measure for Measure, Continuity (Goodman Theatre); King Charles III (Chicago Shakespeare Theatre); Funnyman, White Guy on the Bus, By the Water (Northlight Theatre); Rest (Victory Gardens); Great Expectations (Strawdog), Dutchman (American Blues). As an ensemble member of Red Tape, her credits include hamlet is dead. no gravity, Lear, The Skriker, Brand, The Love of the Nightingale and Pullman, WA. As a proud stakeholder with The Back Room Shakespeare Project, Amanda has performed in nearly 20 plays including Othello, Much Ado About Nothing, As You Like It, and The Tempest in barrooms all over Chicago. She received a Joseph Jefferson Award for Actress in a Principal Role, for her performance in Haven Theatre's production of Last Train to Nibroc.

John Judd recently appeared at Court Theatre in All My Sons. He is a Chicago actor with over thirty years experience in Chicago, Off-Broadway, regionally, and internationally. Other Chicago credits: Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre, Writers Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, A Red Orchid Theatre, Lookingglass, Northlight, and Victory Gardens. Regional credits: Boston's Huntington Theatre, Princeton's McCarter Theatre, Actors Theatre of Louisville, City Theatre in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia Theatre Co., The Old Globe in San Diego, Westport Country Playhouse, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Beaver Creek Theatre Festival, and at the Town Hall Theatre in Galway, Ireland. Recent screen appearances: Sense8, Empire, Chicago Fire, and the feature film, The Letter.
