Robert Frosty Theatre Company opens the holiday season with a bloody display of yuletide amusement in 'Twas The Fight Before Christmas, performing December 4-5, at 7pm, at Gorilla Tango Theatre, 1919 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago 60647. Tickets are $15; to purchase tickets call 773-598-4549 or visitwww.robertfrosty.com/upcoming.

Tired of your typical, old, Christmas stories? Looking to liven up your holidays? 'Twas the Fight Before Christmas takes all your favorite Christmas tales like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman and throws them in a world where carnage and bad puns reign supreme!

This is Robert Frosty Theatre Company's debut sketch revue and already it's breaking ground with it's innovative use of swordplay and satire. Neil Armstrong calls it "Almost as cool as walking on the moon." Buzz Aldrin says "You would know, jerk." To which Neil Armstrong said, "I know you are but what am I?"

This cheery holiday show combines two artistic mediums into one beautiful amalgam of chaotic hilarity. We take sketch comedy and the illusion of violence on stage, put them in a blender, do NOT add kale, and serve the frosty beverage to a thirsty community with an extra shot of vigilante Santa justice.

ABOUT ROBERT FROSTY THEATRE COMPANY

Born of rage and forged in the crucible of millennial nihilism, Robert Frosty Theatre Company seeks to tell the greatest untold stories of American folklore through the illusion of stage violence - from poet Robert Frost's chance encounter with Satan all the way to the odyssey
surrounding the ancient and primordial magic of Guns 'N' Roses legend, Slash. Formed by pseudohistorians Scott Myers and Luke Van Marter in the summer of 2014, Robert Frosty Theatre Company has been slicing and dicing theatre in Chicago ever since. And when the billowing smoke
clears all that remains will be to bestride a golden nightmare steed and helm the highway called Armageddon to a destination named Eternity.

Luke & Scott are both graduates of Columbia College Chicago's Stage Combat Program, certified by both the Society of American Fight Directors and The British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat, and are graduates of the Comedy Studies Program at Second City. And now they are hitting each other with sharp pointy things so it all must have been worth it.
