Red Tape Theatre Presents BIZARRE BAZAAR: A HOLIDAY SPECIAL Tonight

By:

Tonight, December 14 at 8:30pm, Red Tape Theatre presents Bizarre Bazaar: A Holiday Special, curated by Philip Elson, Melissa Ganser & Cristina Tadeo. Bizarre Bazaar is an evening of dance, theater, music, and improvisation with traditional treats and drinks. Red Tape Theatre invites patrons to stick around and avoid last minute shopping stress by browsing handmade goods crafted by local artisans. Part social hour, part live performance and part awkward holiday tradition, Bizarre Bazaar brings together local artists and art enthusiasts for a respite from the stress of the coming holidaze.

Regular admission tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the box office (621 W. Belmont) or online at www.redtapetheatre.org.

The evening features the work of Molly Brennan, Philip Elson, Christopher Knowlton, and Grace Wagner. It will also include the following vendors: Francesca Bourgault (Love, Francesca), Jackie Capozzoli (JACKIMAC), Katy Franklin (author of Hi, How Are You? and Jerk Magnet), Zac Franzoni, Sara Perez (Little Blue Bay), Jordan Reinwald, Mary Tumulty, and Jessie Winslow.

Red Tape Theatre Company, now in its ninth season, is committed to the creation of new and experimental work. Red Tape's plays invite audiences to reimagine their world. Red Tape's work serves a vital purpose in the community: to arrest attention and create empathy. The ensemble collaborates with playwrights, musicians, dancers, and visual artists on our three annual productions. This work is supported by our Fresh Eyes Playwrights Workshop and the Chicago Fringe Artist Networking Night, both of which are produced annually. Red Tape is housed in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, a unique performance space which allows them to continually reinvent the audience-artist relationship.
