Red Tape Presents LES ENFANTS TERRIBLES - PROM NIGHT, 7/22 - 8/14

It's Prom Night at Red Tape Theatre. But nobody remembers inviting Les Enfants Terribles!?! The bouffants utilize their unique blend of commedia, improvisation, and circus to explore the neurosis of that pivotal time in everyone's life: PROM! This world premiere play is unlike anything you've seen on the stages of Chicago. If you like Blue Man Group and 500 Clown, you'll LOVE Les Enfants. LES ENFANTS is directed by Keland Scher and features Jon Helvey, Casey Kells, Alex Kyger, Ryan Lempka, Scott Ray Merchant, Chris Mueller, Brian Rad, and Eric Swanson. The production team includes Daniel MF Black (lighting design), John Gedeon Jr. (technical direction), Becky Mock (production manager), James Palmer (producer), Shaun Renfro (set design), and Les Enfants Terribles (costume and makeup design).

Red Tape Theatre Company is committed to the creation of new and experimental work. Red Tape's plays invite our audiences to reimagine their world. We believe that theatre serves a vital purpose in our community: to arrest and create empathy. Our ensemble collaborates with playwrights, musicians, dancers, and visual artists on our three mainstage productions. This work is supported by our Fresh Eyes Playwrights Workshop and the Chicago Fringe Artist Networking Night, both of which we produce annually. We are housed in St. Peter's Episcopal Church and our unique performance space allows us to continually reinvent the audience/artist relationship.
