Red Star Studio Productions presents Yo Joe! - A Real American Hip-Hop Musical, a parody of the beloved, patriotic cartoon/toy franchise.
The TV series was known for its end-of-episode Public Service Announcements, teaching safety lessons to viewers. The book, music and lyrics were written by Jay Gish, whose musical score for the midwest debut of Cartoon was deemed "lovely" by The Chicago Reader and "catchy" by Gapersblock.com. The show is directed by David Flora.
