Raue Center To Host Fifth Annual RAUETOBERFEST

Celebrate Oktoberfest Raue Center style! Raue Center For The Arts is proud to announce the fifth annual Rauetoberfest! This traditional Oktoberfest celebration will feature music, food, beer and fun for the whole family on September 14 & 15, 2018 at Beyond Stable Farms 11129 Illinois Rt. 176 in Woodstock, IL.

"It's that time of year again! Fall is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate than Rauetoberfest? This has become a local tradition that the whole family can truly enjoy," says Raue Center Board President Tim Paul. "There will be fun entertainment, food, games and great music for everyone!"

Rauetoberfest will feature great live music, fun activities, traditional German fare, and of course, beer! Festival-goers can enjoy a variety of Oktoberfest beers courtesy of Chas. Herdrich & Son, including Scorched Earth Oktoberfest, Schofferhoffer Grapefruit, Hoffbrau Original Lager, Cider Boys Peach, Angry Orchard, Old Style Oktoberfest, Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest, Hacker-Pschorr Weisse and Miller Lite. Not a beer drinker? Rauetoberfest will also offer Sprecher Root Beer and a selection of wine including Cabernet and Riesling.

The Rauetoberfest celebration will feature live music from local favorites, Modern Day Romeos on Friday, September 14! With performances every weekend and over a thousand shows, MDR has remained a top-drawing party band for the last 16 years. All six members have come together from different musical backgrounds to create one of the most fun, unique and high-energy shows that can be experienced locally.

Festival-goers can also enjoy authentic instrumentation, sound and vocals during Friday's festivities, with the music of Alpine Thunder! This lively German folk-pop band features a driving alpine sound with vocals in both German and English, yodeling, alpine accordion and other folk instruments including alphorns and tuned cowbells. The band performs at restaurants in the Chicagoland area on a weekly basis throughout the year and is featured at events throughout the region.

Bratwurst Brothers will rock Rauetoberfest on Saturday, September 15! The Bratwurst Brothers tour all over the Chicagoland area, sharing the Oktoberfest spirit with the young and young at heart.
