Raue Center For The Arts is excited to share a sneak peek of its 2018 - 2019 season! From Grammy Award winners and world premieres to hit tributes and holiday traditions, Raue Center's upcoming season brings something to the stage for everyone to enjoy in downtown Crystal Lake. "It has been an incredible year of growth at Raue Center and Williams Street Repertory and a genuine and profound gratitude fills the center for the recent elimination of our debt," says Executive Director Richard Kuranda. "Over the years, we have worked tirelessly to bring the arts to children and adults in McHenry County and beyond, and we hope the shows we are releasing today will encourage people to become involved in the arts," he continues. "We will be announcing more shows throughout the year, and we are hopeful that our tremendous growth - especially within our educational programs, Mission Imagination and Sage Studio - will continue."

Raue Center kicks off the 2018 - 2019 season by bringing all things geeky to the stage! Geek Week will feature "The Secrets of Superman and Batman" with author Marc Tyler Nobleman (6/14) as well as a series of one-man shows from Canadian actor and uber-geek, Charles Ross. Geek out with "One-Man Dark Knight" (6/15), "One-Man Star Wars Trilogy" (6/16) and "One-Man Lord of the Rings" (6/16).

Popular Raue Center programs including Lucy's Comedy Café and Williams Street Rep Comedy will bring the laughs to the 2018 - 2019 season! Local favorites Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos will also return to Raue Center for what is sure to be another high-energy, sell-out season!

Other highlights of Raue Center's 2018 - 2019 season include the return of six-time Grammy Award winner and crossover sensation Amy Grant (11/10) and holiday traditions including the Northwest Indiana Symphony Orchestra's annual holiday pops concert (12/18).

The upcoming season will also feature a variety of hit tribute shows! Rock the Raue with hits from your favorite musical icons during "Tapestry Unraveled: A Carole King Tribute" (8/18 & 11/25), "Long Live the King with Matt Lewis" (8/25), Deacon Blues: A Tribute to Steely Dan (11/3), Heartache Tonight: A Tribute to the Eagles (11/24) and "Leaders of the Pack" Starring The Lovettes with guest Lance Lipinski (12/31).

Raue Center's 2018 - 2019 season will also feature spectacular American musicals, world premieres of riveting new plays, dramas and more from its in-house professional theater company, Williams Street Repertory! Experience the excitement of live theater with "Ring of Fire" (7/6 - 8/12), "Bomber's Moon (9/28 - 10/21), "Emma! A Pop Musical" (3/29 - 4/20), "The Elephant Man" (5/3 - 5/15) and "All Shook Up" (6/28 - 8/4).
