Pivot Arts Presents LIVE TALK: Let's Talk About Love

By:

Pivot Arts Presents LIVE TALK: Let's Talk About Love ImagePivot Arts' popular monthly LIVE TALK Series is back in February with LIVE TALK: Let's Talk About Love, an entertaining mash-up of short performances and engaging discussion celebrating love and exploring its complexities on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 7:30 pm (doors open at 7 pm) at Chicago's most popular Belgium bar/restaurant Hopleaf, 5148 N. Clark St. in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Food and drink are available for purchase. Tickets for LIVE TALK, priced at $12, are available at www.pivotarts.org/events.

Hosted by Sharon Lanza (Mucca Pazza), this month's line-up features some of Chicago's funniest comedians, Rashawn Scott and John Szymanski, singing songs by artists they love with Alex Kliner on the keys. They're joined by sound, visual and performance artist Meg Leary, tap dancer Nico Rubio, storyteller Julie Ganey, live music with The Glass Trio featuring Courtney Glascoe, Holly Stevens and Stacy Erenberg along with cellist Nora Barton, Julie Pomerleau (violin) and Marc Piane (bass). The Pivot DIY will be led by inspiring arts advocate Erick Deshaun Dorris and actress Laura Fisher, one of the leaders of the NOT IN OUR HOUSE Chicago Theatre Standards, leads a discussion on harassment guidelines now being used by theaters nationally.

Live Talk is an evening meant to bring us together around the arts and meaningful discussions.
