Experience one prince's journey to save his beautiful princess with Marc Robin's musical adaptation of the classic Brothers Grimm fairy tale, SLEEPING BEAUTY, brought to life for children of all ages at The Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences, 10 Marriott Drive in Lincolnshire, from November 10 through December 30, 2017, with a press opening on Saturday, November 18 at 10:00 a.m. Filled with unconventional personalities, broken rules, and quests aplenty, this colorful, musical fairy tale will be directed and choreographed by Scott Weinstein.

In a kingdom far away, the vengeful sorceress Magenta has placed a wicked curse on the beautiful Princess Amber and only a true love's kiss can unlock the spell and wake her before it is too late. Prince Hunter must battle dragons, scale mountains, and sail the dark sea to save Princess Amber. Will his journey allow him to make it in time to prove his love to his Sleeping Beauty? This captivating fairy tale creates excitement and thrill for its audience as they root for Prince Hunter and the fate of the beautiful princess!

Starring in SLEEPING BEAUTY will be a cast of Chicagoland all-stars, including Elizabeth Telford as Princess Amber, Steven Strafford as King Lapis, Meghan Murphy as Magenta, Sharrissee Hamilton as Marigold, Garrett Lutz as Prince Hunter, William Angulo as Topaz, Cassie Slater as Periwinkle and Danni Smith as Ruby.

Andy Hite is the Lead Artistic Director for this production. Musical Direction is by Ryan T. Nelson, Sound Design by Robert Gilmartin, Lighting Design by Nick Belley, Set and Property Design by Lauren Nigri, and Wig Design by Kyle Pingel. The Musical Supervisor is Patti Garwood.
