Hedwig Dances will perform excerpts of 'Moon Studies' and 'Meta | Mor | Phos,' choreographed by Artistic Director Jan Bartoszek, at Navy Pier's Chicago LIVE! event on Sunday, September 20 at 1:00 PM on the East Stage. The performance is free and open to the public.
Open Company Classes
Hedwig Dances also offers weekly open company classes on Wednesdays from 10:00-11:15 AM at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, located at 1016 N Dearborn St. Classes are $12 each, with 4-class bundles available for $40 and 8-class bundles available for $80. All purchases are non-refundable, and class packs are not transferable to sessions taught by other company members.
New Season
Hedwig Dances is preparing a new season featuring new choreographers and new works. The company is providing an opportunity for emerging dancemakers to create dance works exploring the relationship between objects and the moving body for its spring season. Artistic Director Jan Bartoszek will also create a new work during the coming year.
