Photo Flash: New Shots for Akvavit Theatre's HAND IN HAND

Akvavit Theatre presents Swedish playwright Sofia Fredén's dark comedy HAND IN HAND, in a world premiere translation by company member Chad Eric Bergman* and directed by company member Breahan Eve Pautsch*. HAND IN HAND will play now through October 16, 2016 at The Den Theatre, 1333 N. Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

HAND IN HAND features company member Derik Iverson* with Scottie Caldwell, Kamille Dawkins, Todd Michael Kiech, Jae K. Renfrow and Johnard Washington.

In this madcap black comedy from Sweden, six accidental roommates struggle to find money, love and - hardest of all - their own apartment in Stockholm. Each works hard to manipulate the system in their own ways, but all of them are willing to go to extreme lengths to find a place (or person) to call home. They look for shelter in the wilderness, the bedroom, and, - in their most desperate moments - the government. As the characters lives spiral hilariously and disastrously out of control, they discover just how painstakingly high the cost of living really can be.

The production team for HAND IN HAND includes: Chad Eric Bergman* (scenic design), Amy Carlson (costume design), Emma Deane (lighting design), Nigel Harsch (Sound Designer), R&D Choreography (violence/intimacy design) Matthew Isler* (technical director), Carri M, Stevens (production manager), Kirstin Franklin* (casting), Dan Wilson (assistant director) and Stacey Klingberg (stage manager).
